French, after studying dance at the Nice National Conservatoire (1st Prize in 1984) and at the International Dance School of Cannes Rosella Hightower, I joined then the Paris Opera School of Ballet. I danced successively with the Salzburg Landestheater Ballet, with the Monte-Carlo Ballets, with the Zürich Opera Ballet and then again with the Monte-Carlo Ballets. Touring around the world during those 16 years as a dancer, I danced in pieces choreographed by J.Kylian, J.C.Maillot, G.Balanchine, W.Forsythe, L.Childs, J.Uotinen, J.Godani, K.Armitage, and many others.

At the same time as dancing, I studied acting and theater directing, and went on to practise martial arts which I had started before dancing.

In parallel to my dancing career, I created my first pieces for young choreographers workshops. I was selected in 1997 for the 1st edition of the SiWiC, international workshop for young choreographers in Switzerland. My pieces were performed in various international festivals: Berner Tanz Tage 1997, International Dance Festival of Cannes 1997,  International Dance Festival of Biarritz “le Temps d’aimer” 2002.

In june 2001, my piece Impression lumières fugitives was awarded the 1st Prize at the International Choreographic Competition of Hanover (Germany) and I was named amongst the outstanding young choreographers of the year 2001 on the Ballett-Tanz Aktuell magazine.

At the autumn 2002, I founded the Compagnie Humaine in Nice (France).

In September 2003, I left the Monte-Carlo Ballets to dedicate myself to the development of the Compagnie Humaine and to my free-lance career as guest choreographer. I also take part in other projects: choreographies for theater plays, shooting documentaries, video & short movie works, ...

In 2007, I have been nominated for the Kurt Joos Prize for my piece Absence and in 2009, I have been awarded by the Grant Committee of the Association Beaumarchais-SACD (French Society of Authors and Composers) for my creation Un autre rêve américain.

I am regularly commissioned to create works for renowned international dance companies such as Ballet National de Marseille, Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève, Ballett Staatstheater Mainz, Ballett Theater Hagen, Tanzcompagnie Giessen, ... and I created my first work in the US in 2011.

Audiences and critics use the same word to describe the artistic work of the company, "human", as the choreography and movement show - even confront - all the contradictory energies that drive us: poetry and violence, weight in soil and absolute lightness, softness and sharpness, strength and tenderness.
